Meet Mark

With over 17 years of civil and criminal trial experience in municipal and common pleas courts across Ohio, Attorney Mark J. Miller is running for a seat on the Franklin County Municipal Court.

Mr. Miller is originally from Boardman, Ohio in Northeast Ohio and has resided in Franklin County, Ohio for over 20 years.

Attorney Miller graduated from Capital University Law School in 2003, with highest honors. While in law school, Mark interned with several firms, which allowed him to gain experience in the practice areas of criminal defense, personal injury and civil litigation. During law school, Mark was a member of Capital’s Law Review and a teaching assistant for legal research and writing classes. Shortly after graduating from Capital, he became a partner in a firm where he devoted most of his practice to criminal law. Mark has been in private practice for several years and has managed his own law practice in the German Village area since 2014.

 Mark has tried dozens of criminal jury trials throughout central Ohio in municipal and common pleas courts.  You can find Attorney Miller in the Franklin County Municipal Court just about every day, and he prides himself on the kind of experience he will bring to the bench.  In addition, he has argued numerous appeals cases in several courts, including the Ohio Supreme Court.  Mark will again be arguing in the Ohio Supreme Court in April 2021.

In his free time, Mark enjoys sports, travel, the outdoors and exploring parks in Ohio, reading (a lot of law) and exercise.
